Jaipur: Rajasthan State Gas Ltd (RSGL) is set to expand its operations by exploring the possibility of establishing a compressed biogas (CBG) production plant and a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) sales centre, according to Principal Secretary of Mines and Petroleum, T Ravikant, reports The Times of India.
Ravikant, who also serves as RSGL’s chairman, emphasized the company’s focus on accelerating the expansion of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) facilities in Kota. “The expansion will significantly benefit residents, businesses, and industries in the region,” he said on Thursday.
At the company’s board meeting, RSGL Managing Director Ranveer Singh highlighted plans to increase the number of CNG stations in Kota. “Currently, we have 12 CNG stations in the city, and we are working on adding more to enhance accessibility,” he said.
RSGL operates as a joint venture between the Rajasthan government and Gail Gas Ltd.
