AksharChem (India) Limited has commissioned another ground-mounted solar power plant in Gujarat’s Bharuch district, according to a regulatory filing made with the BSE and National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on June 20, 2026.
The new facility, with a capacity of 2.4 MWp (DC) / 1.75 MWp (AC), is located at Village Sardarpura, Taluka Jhagadiya, District Bharuch, and will supply captive power to the company’s manufacturing plant at Dahej, Gujarat. The plant began generating electricity from April 24, 2026, as confirmed by a Certificate of Commissioning issued by the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA).
The filing, submitted under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, described the development as part of the company’s continuing efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio and support sustainable power generation.
