India Energy Week 2025 (IEW’25), the flagship energy event of the Government of India, is set to take place from February 11 to 14, 2025, at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi. Organized by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) and held under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, this year’s event promises to be the largest and most inclusive global energy gathering of the year.
Building on the success of its previous editions, IEW 2025 will feature enhanced participation from global energy leaders, with over 70 CEOs from leading international and domestic energy companies, including bp, TotalEnergies, and ADNOC, joining the event. A strong contingent of over 20 foreign energy ministers and deputy ministers will also be present, underscoring the growing international appeal of the conference.
The event will focus on seven strategic themes: Collaboration, Resilience, Transition, Capacity, Digital Frontiers, Innovation, and Leadership. Emphasizing solutions for decarbonization, energy equity, and low-carbon economies, IEW 2025 will address pressing issues such as artificial intelligence, digitalization, and maritime decarbonization.
With over 70,000 delegates expected from 120 countries, the event will feature 700+ exhibitors and 10 country pavilions, including those from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in dynamic discussions and explore breakthrough technologies that are shaping the future of global energy.
The conference will also highlight India’s advancements in renewable energy, battery storage, biofuels, green ammonia, and hydrogen production. India’s commitment to integrated energy solutions will be reflected in the robust participation of key Indian ministries, including the Ministry of Power and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
Shri Pankaj Jain, Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, emphasized the significance of IEW 2025, noting that it serves as a platform for global collaboration and innovation in navigating energy transitions. He highlighted India’s leadership in green hydrogen, solar innovations, and sustainable energy technologies as key themes for the event.
A key component of the event is the Clean Cooking Ministerial, which will explore solutions for expanding access to clean cooking energy. India will showcase its Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) as a model for global adoption of clean cooking solutions.
IEW 2025 will also feature the Avinya Energy Startup Challenge 2.0, offering emerging startups the opportunity to present their innovative solutions on the global stage. Additionally, nearly 3,000 technical paper submissions will be reviewed, with selected presentations offering groundbreaking insights into the future of energy.
To foster learning and innovation, IEW 2025 will host special workshops and masterclasses for students, entrepreneurs, and innovators, enhancing engagement with the next generation of energy professionals.
This year’s event solidifies IEW’s reputation as one of the most important energy conferences globally, with a strong focus on actionable insights, strategic partnerships, and transformative innovations in the energy sector.
