World’s one of the leading biogas engineering firm GPS Renewables has appointed Deepak Agarwal as the Managing Director of ARYA, its project development arm focused on climate-positive initiatives.
GPS Renewables is a full-service biofuels company providing technology and project solutions for sustainable biofuel ventures. Starting with captive biogas plants, the company has scaled up to build some of the world’s largest Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) plants.
In 2022, GPS Renewables launched GPSR Arya, a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to commissioning Build-Own-Operate (BOO) projects, further advancing the company’s climate impact goals.
About Deepak Agarwal
With over 35 years of experience in Waste Management and Bio-CNG, Deepak Agarwal brings a wealth of industry knowledge. A former Central Civil Services Officer, Agarwal is an alumnus of IIT Roorkee and the Defense Services Staff College, Wellington. He has held leadership positions at leading organizations such as A2Z Green Waste Management, IL&FS Environmental, and EverEnviro.
Deepak has also been appointed to various national committees by the Government of India and serves as the Vice-President of the Waste Management Association. He has played a crucial role in policy advocacy, working with the PMO, Central, and State Governments to promote Waste Management and Bio-CNG/CBG sectors.
