M11 Energy Transition Pvt. Ltd. has been recognised by the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) as the Top Exporter of Biofuel for 2025-26, highlighting the company’s role in expanding biofuel exports from coastal Karnataka, The Hindu reported.
The recognition comes as the region is emerging as a hub for renewable energy, manufacturing and clean-fuel supply chains, Mannan Khan, director of M11 Energy Transition, said in a statement on Monday.
M11 Energy operates an integrated biodiesel facility at Padubidri in Udupi district, where used cooking oil is processed into biodiesel. The facility uses a waste material to produce an alternative fuel, supporting the company’s circular economy approach.
The Padubidri plant is also part of the company’s broader clean-energy plans. M11 Energy is exploring opportunities in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) as it looks to expand into lower-carbon fuels and support India’s transition towards cleaner energy.
The NMPA recognition underlines the growing role of biofuels and renewable fuels in the region’s export and clean-energy ecosystem.
