KPI Green Energy Limited has received Notifications of Award (NOAs) from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, for the Balance of System (BOS) package pertaining to the development of 500 MW grid-connected solar PV projects at Bikaner, Rajasthan, according to a regulatory.
The award is divided into two blocks of 300 MW and 200 MW, with an aggregate contract value of Rs 621 crore (excluding GST). The 300 MW block is valued at Rs 367 crore, while the 200 MW block is valued at Rs 254 crore.
The scope of work includes supply of plant and equipment, inland transportation, insurance, installation, testing and commissioning, civil and allied works, along with comprehensive operation and maintenance services for three years from the commercial operation date (COD) plus a 10-year annual maintenance contract (AMC). The contract agreement will be executed in accordance with the terms of the Notifications of Award.
The company stated that this project marks its entry into Rajasthan, positioning it among India’s renewable energy hubs, and expands its geographical footprint while supporting its strategy of participating in large utility-scale solar opportunities. The filing added that the award strengthens the company’s positioning in India’s renewable energy landscape and aligns with government initiatives to expand green energy capacity.
The company confirmed that neither the promoter nor promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the order. It also stated that the contract does not fall within related party transactions.
