Modi Biotech Private Limited (MBPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Modi Naturals Limited, is significantly expanding its production capacity to strengthen its position as a leading player in the biofuels industry. The company is investing in advanced infrastructure and state-of-the-art technology to fuel this growth.
As part of its expansion plan, MBPL has placed orders and begun construction on a new project that will increase its production capacity by 180 KLD, adding to its existing 130 KLD. Once completed, MBPL’s total production capacity will reach 310 KLD, allowing the company to meet the rising demand for biofuels. This major expansion involves a capital expenditure of Rs. 100 crores and is expected to be completed within 8-10 months.

The company already operates a 130 KLD grain-based ethanol distillery in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, complemented by a 5 MW captive power generation plant. Additionally, MBPL has secured a significant order worth Rs. 300 crores for 41,600 KL of ethanol from leading Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
