Vadodara-based Kotyark Industries Limited has received an Award of Contract from the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) e-procurement portal for the supply of biodiesel, with total allocation across three oil marketing companies (OMCs) amounting to Rs 173.45 crore against a total contract value of Rs 1,397.72 crore.
According to a regulatory filing with the BSE and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company received the communication on August 10, 2026, in respect of Tender ID 2026_MKTHO_190226_1, covering supply for the period from June 2026 to August 2026.
The company said it had participated in the tender floated jointly by IOCL, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) pursuant to a Joint Expression of Interest for biodiesel supply on an industry basis. The total allocation of Rs 173.45 crore comprises orders from all three OMCs and includes an award value of about Rs 15.41 crore pertaining to Letters of Intent (LOIs) received earlier from BPCL and HPCL, which the company had intimated to the exchanges on August 5, 2026.
Kotyark said the respective LOIs and purchase orders would be issued by the OMCs in due course, and that supply would proceed subject to receipt of the requisite indent or supply order within the stipulated period and in accordance with the terms of the LOIs, purchase orders and tender documents. In a disclosure accompanying the filing, the company said the order was to be executed within 92 days from the date of the award, with the location of supply being Gujarat. It added that none of the promoter or promoter group entities had any interest in IOCL, and that the transaction did not fall within related-party dealings.
