Adani Total Gas (ATGL) has expanded its network to 605 CNG stations, adding 28 new stations during the October-December quarter, according to the company’s quarterly earnings report released on Monday. The company also increased its PNG home connections to 9.22 lakh, with 28,677 new households connected. Additionally, industrial and commercial connections grew to 8,913, with 167 new consumers onboarded.
ATGL now operates a steel pipeline network spanning 13,082 Inch Km. In the recent quarter, the combined volume of CNG and PNG reached 257 MMSCM, marking a 15% year-on-year increase. The company’s revenue from operations rose 12%, reaching Rs 1,397 crore, while EBITDA stood at Rs 272 crore. Profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter was Rs 143 crore.
As a leading player in India’s energy transition, ATGL continues to drive infrastructure development across the country. The company shared its operational, infrastructural, and financial results for the quarter and the nine months ending December 2024.
Suresh P Manglani, Executive Director and CEO of ATGL, stated, “ATGL has maintained its growth trajectory by focusing on a customer-centric approach and achieving a 15% year-on-year increase in volume. Despite the reduction in APM gas allocation, we ensured uninterrupted CNG supply by sourcing additional gas through alternative methods.”
He further emphasized the importance of balancing end-user pricing with affordability and profitability, noting the 15% growth in volumes and a 6% increase in EBITDA for the nine-month period compared to the previous year. Manglani also highlighted the company’s ongoing efforts to accelerate PNG and CNG infrastructure development across its 34 geographical areas (GAs), including the newly added Jalandhar GA in Punjab.
ATGL is authorized to operate in 34 GAs, out of a total of 53 GAs, with the remaining 19 GAs under the ownership of Indian Oil-Adani Gas Private Limited (IOAGPL), a 50:50 joint venture between Adani Total Gas and Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
Additionally, ATGL has established two wholly owned subsidiaries: Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Ltd (ATEL) for its e-mobility business and Adani TotalEnergies Biomass Ltd (ATBL) for its biomass business. The company has also formed a 50:50 joint venture, Smart Meter Technologies Private Limited, for its gas meter manufacturing operations.
