SkiesFifty and Frontline BioEnergy partner to advance waste-to-energy innovation

Global investment firm SkiesFifty and biofuel company Frontline BioEnergy have announced a partnership to boost waste-to-energy technology. The collaboration focuses on producing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and green methanol, with plans to establish a new company to drive these efforts.

The partnership combines SkiesFifty’s experience in sustainability investments with Frontline BioEnergy’s advanced technology, which turns biomass and waste into renewable fuels. Together, they aim to scale up SAF and green methanol production in key locations across the United States, with plans for international expansion.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to making aviation more sustainable,” said Kurt Stache, a partner at SkiesFifty and head of its U.S. operations. “By working with Frontline BioEnergy, we’re creating new ways to reduce emissions in aviation and even in shipping.”

Frontline BioEnergy’s technology produces clean gas that can be used to produce SAF. This innovation addresses key challenges in waste-to-energy production and helps reduce aviation’s impact on the environment.

“Our technology offers a cleaner and more efficient way to produce SAF,” said Jerod Smeenk, CEO of Frontline BioEnergy. “With SkiesFifty’s support, we can expand this solution globally and turn waste into renewable fuel, creating a more sustainable future.”

Large-scale projects will be initiated over the course of the following decade by Frontline BioEnergy, with plans to utilize this technology in their operations to contribute to sustainability with economic growth.

Through this joint venture, the world will be filled with cleaner travelling and transportation with low carbon emissions as the company transforms waste into renewable energy.
