German Buses successfully tested on 100% biodiesel, promising cleaner mobility

A fleet of buses in Ilmenau, Germany, operated by IOV Ilmenau, has successfully undergone testing with pure biodiesel (B100). This initiative, led by AGQM Biodiesel, focused on analyzing the engine oil of the buses to assess the impact of the fuel, reports Biofuels International.

The results of the project have been hailed as a crucial step towards eco-friendly mobility. The successful operation of these buses on pure biodiesel demonstrates the potential of this technology to significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the public transport sector.

Richard Wicht, General Manager of AGQM Biodiesel, is very optimistic about the future of biodiesel-run vehicles. “This is a great chance for a greener and more sustainable future.”

The future looks bright in terms of providing cleaner, more sustainable sources of energy, and with the biodiesel buses working well, maybe one day the world will be free from dependence on fossil fuels for transport.
