Phaltan: Swaraj Green Power & Fuel Limited, based in Phaltan, has been honoured with the prestigious ‘India Green Energy Award 2026’ for the second consecutive year in recognition of its significant contributions to sustainable ethanol production, environmental conservation and the adoption of advanced industrial technologies.
The company has reportedly received the national award for the second consecutive year in the category of ‘Best Sugar Ethanol Producer Adopting Advanced Technology for Environmental Protection and Efficient Industrial Management’ according to information provided by the company.
The award was presented by Union Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy, Shripad Yesso Naik, at a ceremony held in New Delhi on October 14. On behalf of the company, Promoter Kumari Tararaje Ranjeetsingh Naik Nimbalkar and General Manager of the Distillery Division, Sanjay Pawar, received the award. Several distinguished personalities and experts from the energy sector attended the event.
