E-FILL, Saudi Arabia’s leading EV charging network operated by ASX eMobility under AlSharif Group Holding, has officially launched the Kingdom’s first subscription-based charging plans for electric vehicles. The new tiered offerings – Basic, Standard, and Business/Fleet – aim to deliver greater affordability, cost predictability, and seamless access to E-FILL’s growing fast-charging infrastructure across the country.
Mohammed Almusawa, CEO of ASX E-Mobility | E-FILL, commented: “This launch is a breakthrough in how EV drivers engage with charging infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. By introducing a subscription model, we are providing flexibility, affordability, and innovation in energy pricing, empowering drivers and businesses to integrate EVs into their lives with greater ease. This move reinforces E-FILL’s role as a pioneer in the Kingdom’s mobility transformation and directly contributes to Vision 2030’s sustainability goals.”
With this move, E-FILL becomes the first company in Saudi Arabia and the GCC to adopt a subscription-based EV charging model – aligning with global best practices already in place across Europe, the U.S., and Asia. This initiative further cements E-FILL’s position as an industry leader, following its previous milestone as the first private operator to establish a public fast-charging network in Riyadh, Jeddah, and the Eastern Province.
The subscription model marks a significant step in accelerating EV adoption in the region, offering users flexible, innovative, and accessible energy solutions in line with the Kingdom’s broader Vision 2030 sustainability objectives.
