Vijayawada: SRM University-AP is preparing to host Andhra Pradesh’s first-ever Green Hydrogen Summit this March. The two-day event aims to bring together experts, industries, and stakeholders to discuss solutions for sustainable energy, focusing on green hydrogen production, storage, and applications.
Dr P Sathyanarayanan, Pro-Chancellor of SRM University-AP, described the summit as a key moment for promoting innovation and sustainability. “This event will be a milestone in understanding new trends in green hydrogen and building partnerships for a sustainable future,” he said.
Ahead of the summit, SRM Group Research Executive Director Prof. D Narayana Rao, Vice President Janakiraman, and other officials met with the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) to invite the Chief Minister to inaugurate the event.
The SRM team also met Chief Secretary K Vijayanand and Industries & Commerce Secretary N Yuvraj to seek government support and discuss involving industries and educational institutions in the summit. They stressed the need for participation from Union and State Ministers to ensure the event has a wide impact.
