Maharashtra’s first renewable solar park to be launched by Hazoor Multi Projects Ltd

Hazoor Multi Projects Ltd (HMPL) is leading the charge in the green energy sector with the development of Maharashtra’s first solar park, “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Saur Urja Park” (CSMSUP), in partnership with a renowned multinational company from the United Kingdom.

This groundbreaking 1.2 GW solar park will span 4,200 acres in Solapur district, utilizing cutting-edge technology. Each solar panel will have a capacity of 750 watts, ensuring exceptional efficiency. The park will feature both fixed and tracking solar panels, with the tracking systems enhancing performance by following the sun’s movement throughout the day.

CSMSUP is set to play a crucial role in India’s transition to renewable energy, supporting the nation’s ambitious green energy targets and significantly reducing its carbon footprint. It highlights how investments in renewable energy not only benefit the environment but also foster economic growth and job creation, particularly in the Solapur region.

Robert Moses, Director at HMPL, commented on the initiative, saying, “The development of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Saur Urja Park in Solapur marks a key milestone in HMPL’s journey in India. It is a testament to our commitment to positioning India as a leader in the renewable energy sector. We plan to further expand our renewable power generation capabilities by launching new projects in other states across India.”

India’s strides in green energy are a strong example for other developing nations, demonstrating how sustainable practices can go hand in hand with economic development. As a symbol of India’s leadership in the fight against climate change, CSMSUP invites global businesses and investors to participate in this green revolution, forging partnerships for a low-carbon future and the continued growth of the country’s renewable energy industry. In addition to CSMSUP, HMPL, in collaboration with international partners, is also planning solar hybrid projects in Maharashtra (1,200 MW) and Andhra Pradesh (500 MW). These initiatives further underscore HMPL’s dedication to driving innovation and sustainability in the renewable energy sector.
