Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) signed a performance-based Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) on October 5, 2026, setting out strategic targets for the 2026-27 financial year, the company said in a press release.
MNRE Secretary Santosh Kumar Sarangi and Dr Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Chairman and Managing Director of IREDA, signed the agreement at Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan in New Delhi. MNRE Joint Secretary Anupam Kumar and senior officials from both organisations were present.
Mohanty thanked the ministry for its continued guidance and support. He said that with clear goals set for the year, the IREDA team would work as hard as in previous years to contribute towards the goal of Viksit Bharat.
