New Delhi: NTPC Limited has informed stock exchanges that its subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), has declared the second part capacity of 6.3 MW of the Vanki Wind Energy Project, located in Nakhatrana, Kutch, Gujarat, on commercial operation with effect from 00:00 hours on September 13, 2026. The project belongs to NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a step down subsidiary of NTPC Limited held through NGEL.
In its filing dated September 12, 2026, submitted under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 to BSE Limited (Scrip Code: 532555) and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (Symbol: NTPC), NTPC said that with this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group now stands at 91,086 MW, with commercial capacity at 90,006 MW. The communication was signed by Ritu Arora, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, NTPC Limited.
In a separate disclosure enclosed with the filing, NTPC Green Energy Limited said the second part capacity of the Vanki Wind Energy Project is owned by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NGEL. Following this declaration of commercial operation, NGEL’s group commercial capacity, which currently stands at 10,836.56 MW, will rise to a total installed capacity of 10,842.86 MW.
