ACME Solar commissions 53.63 MW BESS unit at Rajasthan FDRE project

ACME Solar Holdings Limited said its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, has commissioned Phase-I of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) component at its Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project in Rajasthan, with a capacity of 53.63 MW/300 MWh.

In a regulatory filing to the BSE and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) dated September 14, 2026, the company said the commissioned capacity forms part of the larger 300 MW/1,581 MWh FDRE project located at Village Kelan, Tehsil Chhatargarh, in Rajasthan’s Bikaner district.

Only the BESS component of the project has been commissioned so far, while the corresponding renewable energy generation component remains under development, the company said. The commercial operation date (COD) for the BESS component has been set for September 16, 2026, it added.
