Rhetan TMT completes installation of 1 MW captive solar power project in Gujarat

Rhetan TMT Limited said its 1 MW (AC) captive ground-mounted solar power project at its facility in Kadi, Gujarat, had completed installation, with power generation expected to commence by the end of the first week of August, 2026.

In a disclosure made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company said the project had secured all key regulatory clearances required for implementation. This included final registration from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) under the Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy, 2023, and permission from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to lay an underground electrical cable across a national highway, which the company described as the last regulatory requirement for the project.

The company said testing and commissioning activities were currently underway and were expected to be completed within the next few weeks. The project was first announced in an earlier communication in February 2025, and the current disclosure was made in continuation of that intimation.

The solar power plant is located at the company’s manufacturing unit at Survey no. 325, Karannagar, Kadi-Kalol Road, Taluka Kadi, in Gujarat’s Mehsana district. The company said it would keep the exchanges and shareholders informed of further material developments relating to the project.

The disclosure was signed by Shalin Shah, Managing Director of Rhetan TMT Limited.

Rhetan TMT Limited is listed on BSE under scrip code 543590 and on the National Stock Exchange under the symbol RHETAN, with ISIN INE0KKN01029.
