Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, said it received two Letters of Award (LOA) on July 25, 2026, for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works on two ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) plants, together aggregating 800 MWac, or 1,082 MWp, of capacity.
The company disclosed the development in a regulatory filing to the BSE and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 26, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
According to the filing, the two solar PV plants have capacities of 400 MWac/530 MWp and 400 MWac/552 MWp, respectively. The orders were awarded by a domestic entity described in the filing as one of India’s leading renewable energy companies, with the client’s identity not disclosed.
The filing categorised the orders as commercial contracts awarded by a domestic entity, and said the projects are scheduled to be completed during financial year 2027-28, as per the terms of the order.
The company stated that the promoter and promoter group have no interest in the awarding entity, and that the orders do not fall within the ambit of related-party transactions.
