Efforts to advance bioenergy research in the United States have received a boost after BPC Instruments entered into a three-year partnership with the American Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) to improve testing and research methods linked to biogas production.
The collaboration will focus on enhancing the quality and consistency of anaerobic digestion trials, a key process in bioenergy production. The partnership will also include applied research, education and training programmes involving BPC Instruments’ analytical technologies, MarketScreener reported.
Both organisations will work together at AURI’s research centre in Minnesota as part of ongoing efforts to support biogas research and development. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
BPC Instruments chief executive officer Dr. Jing Liu said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to delivering reliable and well-interpreted data that can support better decision-making in the sector.
Liu added that the company looks forward to contributing high-quality data to anaerobic digestion trials through AURI’s strong connections with the US agricultural and bioindustrial markets, as well as its continuing work in biogas research and development.
