Oriana Power incorporates wholly owned subsidiary Evercore Projects to pursue green hydrogen and bio gas

Oriana Power Limited has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Evercore Projects Private Limited, to expand its footprint across power generation, renewable energy, and advanced clean fuel technologies, including green hydrogen and compressed bio gas, according to a regulatory disclosure made by the company.

The subsidiary was incorporated on April 7, 2026, and the Certificate of Incorporation was received on April 17, 2026. Company Secretary Tanvi Singh signed the disclosure on April 18, 2026, in compliance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations, 2015.

Evercore Projects has been set up with an authorised capital of Rs. 1 lakh, comprising 10,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each, all held entirely by Oriana Power Limited. The subsidiary has been classified as a related party of the parent company and is yet to commence commercial operations.

According to the disclosure, the subsidiary’s business mandate spans the full value chain of power and energy. Its primary focus areas include power generation, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of power projects, as well as operation and maintenance services and consultancy in power project processing.

The entity is also mandated to develop both conventional and non-conventional energy sources, with specific coverage of Compressed Bio Gas (CBG), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hydrogen electrolysers, green hydrogen, and e-fuels. In addition, the subsidiary is authorised to conduct research, development, manufacturing, and commercialisation of advanced renewable fuels, including hydrogen, fuel cells, green ammonia, e-methanol, and green methanol.

The company’s disclosure noted that the subsidiary would also undertake the construction and establishment of power stations, cables, transmission lines, and electricity distribution networks serving both public and private entities, and would offer advisory services in the domestic and international markets.

The incorporation follows a series of significant project wins for Oriana Power in recent months, including a Rs. 3,135 crore green ammonia offtake agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, and an EPC contract worth Rs. 1,180 crore for a 234 megawatt floating solar project.
