GREW Solar Wins ‘Solar Energy Manufacturer of the Year 2025’ at the Go Global Awards

GREW Solar, one of India’s fastest-growing solar PV manufacturers, has been honored with the ‘Solar Energy Manufacturer of the Year 2025’ award at the Go Global Awards ceremony hosted by the International Trade Council at the House of Lords. The recognition underscores the company’s rapid growth, technological innovation, and expanding global footprint in the solar energy sector.

The award was presented by His Excellency Jonathan Marland and Baroness Sandip Verma, in the presence of diplomats, senior government officials, and representatives from 76 countries.

“Being recognized on a global platform like this is deeply meaningful for us. It reflects our commitment to delivering dependable solar solutions and expanding clean energy access worldwide,” said Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director of GREW Solar. “This honor also reminds us of the responsibility we carry as we enter new markets and continue innovating.”

Dr. Sachin Verma, Vice President – HR & Business Transformation, added, “This milestone validates the environment we are building at GREW Solar, where teams feel supported and motivated. It’s an acknowledgment of our global impact and dedication to sustainable growth.”

Founded in 2022 and backed by the Chiripal Group, GREW Solar has rapidly emerged as one of India’s top 10 solar PV manufacturers. In just three years, the company has become a key player in India’s clean energy landscape while expanding into international markets.

Since its inception, GREW Solar has achieved significant milestones: launching M10 modules of up to 550 Wp, commissioning 1.2 GW of PV module manufacturing at Dudu, Rajasthan, and scaling operational capacity to 3.0 GW by 2025 with high-efficiency M10 TOPCon modules up to 590 Wp. The company is expanding its Dudu plant to 11.0 GW, making it one of India’s largest AI-powered, integrated solar PV manufacturing facilities, complete with a state-of-the-art R&D lab. Plans are also underway for a 3.0 GW solar PV cell plant in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, with expansion to 8.0 GW by 2026.

The Go Global Awards are a key annual initiative of the International Trade Council, recognizing excellence in global trade, innovation, market expansion, and sustainability. The Council evaluates thousands of nominations worldwide, celebrating organizations demonstrating outstanding achievement across trade, technology, supply chain, e-commerce, and more.
