The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has launched a Logo Design Contest for the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM), an initiative aimed at creating a comprehensive action plan to build a robust Green Hydrogen ecosystem in India. The mission seeks to drive large-scale decarbonisation, reduce dependence on fossil fuel imports, and position India as a global leader in Green Hydrogen technology and markets.
Recognising the mission’s importance at both national and global levels, the MNRE has adopted an inclusive approach by inviting all Indian citizens, regardless of age, to participate in the contest. The objective is to align public creativity and aspirations with the mission’s vision of making India the Global Hub for production, usage, and export of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives.
Participants are encouraged to design a logo that reflects the mission’s core themes — the country’s ambition to become a global leader in Green Hydrogen, the emerging nature of this sector, self-reliance, investment potential, and the versatility of Green Hydrogen across industries such as steel, transport, fertilizers, shipping, and petrochemicals.
Entries must be submitted in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI and dimensions of 15 cm x 20 cm. Submissions will be evaluated by an internal MNRE committee based on creativity, originality, composition, technical quality, simplicity, artistic merit, visual impact, and relevance to NGHM’s objectives.
The winning entry will receive a cash prize of ₹1,00,000 along with a certificate of recognition from the Mission Director, NGHM. Additionally, ten runners-up will each be awarded ₹5,000. The first-prize winner will also be reimbursed for round-trip domestic economy airfare to New Delhi.
The last date for submitting the entry is 05-11-2025. Participants can directly login to https://www.mygov.in/task/logo-design-contest-national-green-hydrogen-mission/ for registration and submission of their entries.
