Pakistan aims to boost automotive industry by integrating ethanol fuel in vehicles

Pakistan wants to build more of its cars and make them run on cleaner fuels, and it’s looking to Japan for help. Officials from both countries recently met to talk about how to make this happen, reports Mettis News Link.

Haroon Akhtar Khan, a special advisor to the Prime Minister for industry, met with Hiroshi Kawamura, the head of Pak Suzuki. They talked about working together to make more things in Pakistan and to trade more between the two countries. The main topics were putting ethanol fuel in cars, making sure car engines can use it, and building more car parts inside Pakistan.

Khan said it’s important for Pakistan to work with Japan on projects that use biogas and electric cars. He said both countries want to use new technology and clean energy. “Pakistan and Japan can find new ways to make things together,” Khan said.

Khan was happy about Pak Suzuki’s plan to build a plant that makes biogas in Manga Mandi. He said this would help produce green energy. He also said Pakistan is a good place for Pak Suzuki to sell cars and that they should keep working together.

Pakistan wants to work with Japan on projects that will lead to growth and new ideas. They especially want to focus on transportation that is good for the environment, which is part of the Prime Minister’s plan to encourage eco-friendly vehicles.

This meeting shows that Pakistan and Japan are trying to build stronger business connections. They want to help each other grow and use new technology.

Kawamura congratulated Khan on his new job and said he believes the two countries will have even stronger business ties in the future.
