Nagpur: Nagpur is all set to witness a transformative shift in its urban mobility as MahaRail (Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited) announces the successful completion of the much-awaited 4-lane Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Wardhaman Nagar. The structure is now ready for inauguration, marking a significant victory for the city’s infrastructure under the expert leadership of Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal, Managing Director, MRIDC.
Located at Railway Crossing-73—historically one of the most congested bottlenecks between Itwari and Dighori Railway stations—this ROB connects Bhagwan Sambhavnath Chowk to Dipti Signal Road. The project stands as an important achievement under the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s vision to make Maharashtra Rail Fatak Mukt.

This bridge has been constructed under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF), reflecting a seamless synergy between state vision and central support. The completion of this 1,320-meter elevated corridor is set to drastically improve the quality of life for residents and local businesses by ensuring Zero Gate Delays. By replacing the manual level crossing with a modern 4-lane structure, MahaRail is providing a permanent solution to traffic, thereby fostering economic growth and enhancing public safety.
