Gulshan Polyols Limited’s Grain-based Ethanol Plant, with a capacity of 250 KLPD, situated in Goalpara District, Assam, has successfully met all Quality Control standards during its trial run for ethanol production.
In a regulatory filing, the company notified the exchanges, stating, “We are pleased to inform that, the Company, today has initiated and successfully achieved a milestone when its Grain based Ethanol Plant has passed all the Quality Control parameters while conducting Trial run for Production of Ethanol from its Plant of 250 KLPD Capacity at Goalpara, Distt. Assam. The Commercial production/operations of Ethanol shall commence after completion of few procedures/compliances with Oil Marketing Companies which may take around 15 days, after which commercial invoice will follow.”
The company had obtained a ‘Consent to Operate’ (CTO) from the Pollution Control Board, Assam, for the same plant a month earlier.
