Captain Polyplast receives Rs 8 crore solar pump order from MSEDCL

Captain Polyplast Limited, a leading manufacturer and exporter of micro-irrigation solutions that has expanded into the growing solar EPC segment, has secured an order from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for 300 standalone off-grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) under the PM Kusum B Scheme.

The contract, valued at ₹8.17 crore including GST, is part of the “Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump” Yojana and requires CPL to supply and install the 300 off-grid solar water pumping systems within 60 days. This comes on top of an earlier order for 200 such systems issued at the time of the company’s empanelment with MSEDCL. The latest order is expected to reinforce CPL’s growth trajectory and strengthen its long-term business outlook.

Commenting on the development, Ritesh Khichadia, Whole-Time Director of Captain Polyplast, said, “We were empanelled with MSEDCL last quarter with an initial order for 200 pumps. The additional order for 300 pumps underscores our execution capabilities in the solar pumps segment. With the PM Kusum scheme accelerating the adoption of clean irrigation technologies, we see substantial opportunities ahead. This order aligns with our long-term strategy of expanding in sustainable solutions, and we are confident it will contribute meaningfully to our growth momentum and future prospects.”
