Lhyfe (EURONEXT: LHYFE), a leading producer of green and renewable hydrogen for industrial and mobility applications, has signed a multi-year supply agreement with a major operator in the hydrogen heavy-mobility sector, reports Lhyfe.
Under the contract, Lhyfe will provide its customer with RFNBO-certified renewable hydrogen — the European Union’s most stringent standard for renewable fuel of non-biological origin.
The agreement covers the delivery of more than 200 tonnes of RFNBO hydrogen, enough to power hydrogen-powered trucks for more than 2.5 million kilometres. The supplied fuel is expected to help avoid approximately 1,700 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
The contract came into effect on 1 November 2025.
Matthieu Guesné, founder and CEO of Lhyfe, said the deal underscores the essential role of hydrogen in decarbonising heavy transport. “The decarbonisation of heavy mobility through hydrogen is not an option — it’s a necessity. While some continue to debate the pros and cons of electric batteries versus hydrogen, or question the maturity and sustainability of the model, we are investing, acting, and making the decarbonisation of freight transport a tangible reality. From now on, the movement can only accelerate,” he stated.
