Tanker truck overturns on I-35 in Logan County, spilling 7,000 gallons of biodiesel

Logan County, Okla: Southbound lanes of Interstate 35 in Logan County were closed on Friday after a tanker truck carrying biodiesel overturned, spilling approximately 7,000 gallons of fuel, according to Logan County Emergency Management, reports News 9.

The accident occurred near mile marker 170 and led to a major cleanup operation involving emergency response teams from Logan County, Payne County, Guthrie, Mulhall, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Authorities said all southbound traffic is being diverted off I-35 at Mulhall Road and rerouted along U.S. Highway 77 back into Guthrie. Motorists have been advised to avoid the area or prepare for significant delays.

Officials confirmed that no injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
