Jindal Mobilitric, a subsidiary of Jindal Worldwide Limited (JWL), has announced the unveiling of its electric vehicle (EV) model, which boasts an impressive range of 165 km—placing it among the top performers in its category. The company has submitted the vehicle for homologation and is currently awaiting the necessary clearances from regulatory authorities.
Once approvals are in place, Jindal Mobilitric plans to commence the rollout through its existing network of 35 dealers. The company is also working towards expanding its dealer base to 100 over the next year. The production facility is fully equipped and ready to begin manufacturing and deliveries immediately after the green light is received.
This new EV marks Jindal Worldwide’s entry into the rapidly expanding electric mobility sector. Speaking on the development, a company spokesperson stated, “Electric mobility represents the future of transportation. Entering this space is a strategic and important step for us. Our EV has been developed entirely in-house, and we are eagerly looking forward to its launch.”
The company has established a manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad with an annual production capacity of 2.5 lakh vehicles. In addition, it has built a fully automated battery production unit of equal capacity. The in-house battery facility has been designed to meet the highest safety standards, aimed at building consumer confidence and supporting the broader adoption of EVs across India.

In terms of financial performance, Jindal Worldwide reported a 42.10% increase in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 25.01 crore, on the back of a 52.41% rise in net sales to Rs 630.51 crore in Q2 FY22 compared to the same period last year.
