Telangana will become green hydrogen hub: Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka

Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka emphasized the potential of green hydrogen technology as a key fuel source for the future and promised to make the state a hub for green hydrogen production.

He made these remarks at a workshop on the Hyderabad-Australia India Critical Minerals Research Hub, which took place at IIT Hyderabad on Friday, January 3.

Vikramarka highlighted the Telangana government’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, revealing plans to generate 20,000 megawatts of green energy by 2030.

He also noted that the Australia-India Critical Minerals Research Hub, in partnership with Monash University, is crucial not only for Telangana but for the entire country and the global community.

Vikramarka described the workshop as a step toward collaboration, emphasizing its importance in developing a clean and green energy policy for the state.
