Pasupati Acrylon Limited has officially commenced commercial production at its newly established 150 KL per day grain-based ethanol plant in Thakurdwara, Moradabad District, Uttar Pradesh.
On March 11, the company announced that the setup for its 150 KL per day ethanol plant had been completed. Following regular trials and final-level testing, the company confirmed the start of commercial production, with updates to be provided to the Exchange as required.
This move marks Pasupati Acrylon’s entry into the ethanol business, aligning with the Indian government’s vision to boost domestic ethanol production and reduce dependence on crude oil imports. The strategic shift into ethanol production is expected to diversify the company’s revenue streams and support long-term growth, especially as the demand for alternative energy sources continues to rise.
Pasupati Acrylon Ltd is a leading manufacturer of acrylic fiber, tow, tops, and cast polypropylene film, with the new ethanol plant poised to further strengthen its position in the industry.
