OMCS allocate 18.25 crore liters of ethanol to BCL Industries for Ethanol Supply Year 2024-25

BCL Industries Limited has been allocated 18.25 crore liters of ethanol for the Ethanol Supply Year (ESY) 2024-25, an increase from the 16.94 crore liters allocated for ESY 2023-24. This rise in allocation is due to the additional 100 KLPD capacity added at M/s. Svaksha Distillery Limited during the financial year 2023-24.

BCL Industries, along with its subsidiary M/s. Svaksha Distillery Limited, participated in a tender issued by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) under the EBPP for ESY 2024-25 at various locations across the country.

Industry experts estimate that the total tender value for ethanol supply from BCL Industries will exceed Rs. 1,200 crore.

Recently, BCL Industries announced plans to acquire Goyal Distillery, located in Fatehabad, Haryana, which has the necessary land and permissions to establish a 250 KLPD grain-based ethanol unit.

OMCs have allocated approximately 837 crore liters of ethanol from 970 crore liters of offers submitted by manufacturers nationwide for Ethanol Supply Year (ESY) 2024-25 – Cycle 1. OMCs had invited tenders for the supply of 916 crore liters of ethanol for ESY 2024-25.
