A Tripartite Agreement Ceremony was held at GAIL’s Chandigarh office, marking a strategic collaboration between Baba Deep Singh Green Power Pvt. Ltd., Gujarat Gas Ltd., and GAIL under the CBG-CGD Synchronisation Scheme. As per the agreement, Baba Deep Singh Green Power will supply compressed biogas (CBG) to Gujarat Gas Ltd., with GAIL facilitating the transmission to ensure an efficient and uninterrupted supply chain.
The upcoming plant at Village Qadian, District Gurdaspur, Punjab, will have an expected capacity of 34,000 cubic meters of raw biogas per day, which comes down to around 13,600 kilograms of CBG per day.
The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) duties have been given to CEID Consultants and Engineering Pvt. Ltd., who are at present managing the plant’s development. The work of CEID includes designing, procurement, and implementing the plant infrastructure in harmony with environmental and safety regulations with the integration of the latest technology to provide operational superiority.
The signing ceremony was attended by notable representatives, including Mr. Akash Bhawan (ZOIC), Mr. Sanjay Arora, Ms. Savneet Kaur Pandher, Mr. Subandhu Sinha, and Mr. Mayur Bhosale from GAIL, while Mr. Kanwar Pratap Singh Bajwa, Director of Baba Deep Singh Green Power Pvt.
