ENOC Group has unveiled plans to provide a blend of biodiesel for dnata’s entire non-electric fleet and ground handling services at its largest hub in Dubai, reported Mobility Plaza.
This partnership is expected to reduce CO₂ equivalent emissions by over 3,500 tonnes annually throughout the fuel’s lifecycle. The initiative is being implemented progressively across dnata’s ground handling and cargo operations at both Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum – Dubai World Central (DWC) airports.
As per media report, the initiative covers a total of 2,500 vehicles that support over 220,000 flights each year.
“This collaboration highlights ENOC Group’s commitment to accelerating the UAE’s shift to clean and sustainable energy under the National Policy on Biofuels. We are eager to advance clean energy alternatives and further diversify the national energy mix,” stated Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO at ENOC.
To facilitate this transition, ENOC Group has provided dedicated biofuel trucks and fuel stations to support dnata’s shift to biodiesel in Dubai.
