ChargeZone, Landmark Cars partner to offer EV charging benefits to buyers

ChargeZone, an electric vehicle charging network with more than 15,000 charging points, has partnered with premium and luxury automotive retailer Landmark Cars to offer charging benefits to customers buying electric vehicles from its dealerships across India, Energetica India reported.

The programme will be launched on September 9, World EV Day, and will give EV buyers access to ChargeZone’s fast-charging network as part of the vehicle purchase experience.

Under the partnership, customers referred to ChargeZone through a designated code provided at Landmark dealerships will receive 51,000 Charging Credits that can be used on ChargeZone’s network.

The programme will cover Landmark Cars’ network of 140 facilities across 32 cities in 12 states and union territories. The companies said the partnership is aimed at making public charging more accessible to customers from the time they purchase an EV rather than treating charging as a separate requirement after the purchase.

“As EV adoption grows in India, building charging infrastructure is only one part of the equation. It is equally important to make that infrastructure easily accessible across the different touchpoints of the EV ownership journey,” said Kartikey Hariyani, founder and CEO of ChargeZone.

He said dealerships were an important starting point for most vehicle buyers and the partnership would help bring charging access closer to customers at the time of purchase.

Aryaman Thakker, executive director of Landmark Cars, said the shift to electric mobility required an ecosystem that extended beyond vehicles.

The partnership would make charging infrastructure more accessible to customers through Landmark’s dealership network and support the wider adoption of EVs, he said.

ChargeZone said the partnership is part of its broader effort to connect public charging infrastructure with the vehicle purchase and ownership experience.

The company has charging partnerships with automotive manufacturers and platforms including Tata.ev, Hyundai, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and VinFast. It said these partnerships are intended to provide EV buyers across different vehicle segments with access to high-speed charging infrastructure from the beginning of ownership.

ChargeZone is also expanding its charging network across highways and cities while working with automotive manufacturers, mobility platforms and other partners to improve connectivity between charging infrastructure and EV users. The company said the collaboration with Landmark Cars would further strengthen access to public charging as India’s EV market expands.
