AM Green has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to establish a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project in the state.
The agreement was signed by Anil Chalamalasetty, Founder and Group Chairman of AM Green, and Manoj Kumar Singh, IAS, Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, during the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos.
Under the terms of the MoU, AM Green will invest Rs 3,000 crores to develop the SAF project in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
The initiative aims to support sustainable development, cut carbon emissions, and improve energy efficiency within the aviation industry.

This partnership is expected to strengthen India’s contribution to global decarbonization targets and position Uttar Pradesh as a key hub in the nation’s transition to green energy. The MoU marks a significant step in advancing India’s sustainability goals while enhancing its role in global climate action.
Recently, AM Green partnered with DP World, a global logistics leader, to create a sustainable supply chain for green fuels and chemicals.
