Advait Infratech Limited receives major green hydrogen contract

Advait Infratech Limited has been awarded a major contract to establish manufacturing facilities for 200 MW of alkaline electrolysers in India. This contract, announced today, is from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme (Tranche-II).

Valued at approximately ₹200 crore, the contract aims to enhance domestic production of green hydrogen technology. Advait Infratech received this order on August 27, 2024, and is expected to establish facilities for manufacturing alkaline electrolysers with a total capacity of 200 MW.

This initiative supports India’s goals for sustainable energy solutions and self-reliance in green technology production. The SIGHT Scheme, implemented by SECI, is part of the government’s strategy to advance the use of green hydrogen in the country’s energy mix.

The announcement did not specify the timeline for project execution.
