Gadkari was in Brasilia, Brazil, on Wednesday to represent India at the BRICS Transport Ministers’ Meeting, where he emphasized India’s vision for a sustainable, resilient, and future-ready transport network.
Highlighting progress made under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the minister referenced several key government initiatives, including PM GatiShakti, the National Logistics Policy, Bharatmala, and Sagarmala. These programmes, he noted, underscore India’s commitment to building an integrated transport system that promotes inclusive growth and enhances regional connectivity.
