KPI Green Energy Limited has commissioned 200 MW (AC) / 269 MW (DC) of solar power capacity for Coal India Limited at Khavda in Gujarat, the company said in a stock exchange filing on July 20, 2026.
According to the filing, the capacity forms part of a larger 300 MW (AC) / 405 MW (DC) grid-connected, ground-mounted solar PV project that KPI Green is executing on an EPC basis for Coal India at GIPCL’s Solar Park in Khavda. The company said the commissioning was certified by the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA).
KPI Green said the development deepens its presence at Khavda, which it described as one of the country’s largest renewable energy hubs, and reflects the company’s execution strength in utility-scale solar delivery. The company added that, as it works towards completing the balance capacity of the project, the KP Group remains on track with its target of building a 10 GW clean energy portfolio by 2030.
