KPI Green Energy Limited has energised an additional 171.5 MWp capacity across its solar and hybrid independent power producer (IPP) projects at Bharuch in Gujarat, the company said in a press released with the National Stock Exchange.
The company has energised 49.7 MWp under its 350 MWp solar project and 121.8 MWp under its 677 MWp hybrid project, it said in a regulatory filing dated November 6.
With the latest additions, cumulative energised capacity under the solar project has reached 300.8 MWp out of 350 MWp. Under the hybrid project, the company has energised 510.7 MWp out of 677 MWp, comprising 449.2 MWp of solar and 61.5 MW of wind capacity.
Both projects are being developed under long-term power purchase agreements with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
KPI Green Energy said the progressive energisation of capacity would strengthen its IPP portfolio and support recurring revenue streams, while the company continues to expand its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business.
