ITM Power has signed an agreement to supply its container-based green hydrogen systems to a project backed by Octopus Energy Generation at Kimberly-Clark’s manufacturing facility in Northfleet, near Gravesend in Kent, reports Investing.com.
The project will use ITM Power’s NEPTUNE V hydrogen units and will be funded through investment funds managed by Octopus Energy Generation. Development of the project is being led by HYRO, Octopus Energy’s platform focused on green hydrogen projects.
The green hydrogen system at the Northfleet plant is expected to be up and running by the end of 2027.
