NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) declared two more wind energy capacities in Gujarat as commercially operational, taking the fresh addition to 56.7 MW with effect from 00:00 hours on September 22, 2026, the company informed stock exchanges.
In a disclosure made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited, the company said the fourth part capacity of 6.3 MW of its Vanki Wind Energy Project at Nakhatrana in Kutch district was declared commercially operational from the same date.
A separate 50.4 MW first part capacity of the Jamjodhpur Wind Energy Project at Jamnagar was also declared commercially operational from 00:00 hours on September 22, 2026, according to the filing.
Both capacities form part of the 1,050 MW wind component under the 500 MW REMCL round-the-clock (RTC) project being executed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NREL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NGEL.
With these additions, NGEL’s group-wide commercial capacity has risen from 10,920.53 MW to 10,977.23 MW, the disclosure showed.
