ACME Solar Holdings Limited said its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, commissioned Phase-II of the battery energy storage system (BESS) component of its firm dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project in Rajasthan on September 17, 2026, with commercial operations set to begin on September 19, 2026.
In a regulatory filing to the BSE and the National Stock Exchange under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, the company said the newly commissioned tranche comprises 52.32 MW/209.28 MWh, part of the project’s total planned BESS capacity of 300 MW/1,200 MWh discharge capacity. The project is located at Village Kelan, Tehsil Chhatargarh, in Rajasthan’s Bikaner district.
With the latest addition, ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited has achieved a cumulative commissioned BESS capacity of 105.95 MW/423.80 MWh at the site, the filing said.
The company said the power purchase agreement for the project has been signed with SJVN Limited, with long-term project financing arranged from REC Limited. The disclosure follows an earlier intimation filed by ACME Solar on September 14, 2026, on the same project.
ACME Solar said it expects to commission the entire BESS capacity for the project by the third quarter of the current fiscal year.
