Suzlon bags maiden 200 MW wind order from Ayana Renewable Power

Suzlon Energy Limited has secured a maiden 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power Limited, the company informed stock exchanges on September 8, 2026, in a filing accompanied by a press release. The order marks Suzlon’s third DevCo-led wind order spanning Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, according to the release.

Under the order, Suzlon will supply and install 64 units of its flagship S144 wind turbine, each rated at 3.15 MW, taking cumulative sales of the platform past the 10 gigawatt (GW) mark, the company said. The project will be executed on a comprehensive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, covering turbine supply, land acquisition, balance of plant, a pooling substation, an extra high voltage line, commissioning, and operations and maintenance. The plant will come up at Limbawas in Madhya Pradesh, with power evacuated to the Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MPPCL) state grid.

Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of Suzlon Group, said Ayana Renewable Power had built a 5.5 GW renewable energy portfolio across wind, solar and round-the-clock power, and that Suzlon was pleased to support its expansion into Madhya Pradesh’s wind segment. He said the state offered more than 55 GW of wind potential at 150 metres and that Suzlon had won two consecutive orders there.

Ajay Kapur, Chief Executive Officer of Suzlon Group, said the company’s end-to-end capabilities allowed it to develop and execute wind projects efficiently, adding that it had secured four wind orders across two states in a short span.

Lakshmi Narayanan B, Head of Business Development at Ayana Renewable Power, said the project marked an important milestone as Ayana established its wind presence in Madhya Pradesh, citing Suzlon’s technology and execution track record as reasons for the partnership.
