Sungrow, a global leader in PV inverter and energy storage solutions, has secured a major order to supply 835 MW of its advanced inverters to Juniper Green Energy, a prominent independent power producer focused on solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects. The collaboration strengthens Sungrow’s role in advancing India’s clean energy goals while supporting Juniper Green Energy’s ambition to reach 10 GW of installed solar capacity by 2030.
Juniper Green Energy’s deployment of Sungrow’s high-efficiency inverter technology is expected to boost energy output and ensure long-term operational sustainability. The project will utilize SG320HX-20 (300 kW) string inverters and SG4400UD-20 (4.4 MW) central inverters, both designed for high performance. The inverters offer up to 99% efficiency and advanced power tracking, enabling optimal output even in variable weather conditions. The central inverters are built to operate reliably in extreme temperatures, up to 51°C, ensuring uninterrupted power generation in India’s harsh climates.
The inverters will be installed across key solar sites in Maharashtra—specifically Chappalgaon, Karanja, and Jalkot—and in Rajasthan’s solar-rich zones of Fatehgarh and Bhadla. These sites have been strategically selected to optimize solar energy capture and enhance integration with the national grid.
“This 835 MW partnership with Juniper Green Energy reflects the confidence placed in Sungrow’s technology and our capacity to deliver large-scale, high-performance solutions,” said Sunil Badesra, Country Head of Sungrow India. “Juniper’s fast-paced growth and focus on building efficient solar infrastructure align with our mission to support India’s green energy transformation through smart and reliable inverter solutions.”
