Statiq launches Hyperlocal EV campaign to expand charging access across south India

Statiq, an electric vehicle charging company, has launched its Hyperlocal EV Campaign in Hyderabad, Chennai, and several cities in Kerala. The campaign is part of the company’s broader effort to expand charging access and raise public awareness about its growing presence in South India, reports Adgully.com.

The company has already built a wide charging network in both city and town areas, placing hundreds of stations at locations such as malls, hotels, fuel stations, and highways. These stations include fast chargers and AutoCharge-enabled points. Statiq is also promoting the use of its mobile app, which helps users plan routes, make easy payments through a digital wallet, and check real-time charger availability, making electric vehicle use more convenient.

Akshit Bansal, the Founder and CEO of Statiq, said the campaign focuses on making EV charging easier for people living in less-connected areas as well as major cities. He said the aim is to fill the gaps and make sure that reliable charging is within reach for everyone. According to him, as India moves toward cleaner transport, Statiq is committed to helping more people switch to electric vehicles by ensuring they can easily charge them wherever they are.

Co-Founder and CTO Raghav Arora added that Statiq is working to create smart and simple solutions that suit the everyday needs of people in India. He said the company’s technology is built to ensure that anyone using their services has a smooth and hassle-free experience.

The campaign is being carried out through a wide variety of efforts across the targeted regions. Statiq has installed billboards and hoardings in high-traffic areas in Hyderabad, Chennai, and cities like Kozhikode, Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. It is also using standees at charging stations to help users understand the services on-site. Creative print materials such as origami fans and bookmarks are being distributed, including through grocery delivery platforms. Localized online ads are running on platforms like Meta and Google with special sign-up codes for each city. Statiq is also reaching users through targeted WhatsApp messages, push notifications on the app, and updates through its in-app platform, Statiq Buzz, which highlights new features and locations. To connect more closely with local communities, the company is working with regional influencers who are creating content in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, showing people how easy it is to find and use Statiq’s services.

With this campaign, Statiq is not only increasing the visibility of its charging network but also encouraging more people across South India to adopt electric vehicles. The company says it will continue expanding its footprint and delivering solutions that support India’s transition to cleaner and more sustainable transportation.
