Solar Industries India Limited has added a new step-down subsidiary in Botswana after its wholly owned arm, Solar Overseas Mauritius Limited, incorporated Solar Explochem Proprietary Limited on September 29, 2026, the company said in a filing with the stock exchanges.
The new company belongs to the explosives industry, and Solar Industries described the incorporation as part of the expansion of its business operations. Solar Overseas Mauritius Limited is the holding company of the Botswana entity.
According to the filing, the initial capital was subscribed in cash at a cost of USD 325,000, and the listed entity holds a 65 per cent stake in the new firm. The company said no governmental or regulatory approvals were required for the incorporation.
