Praj Industries and Vasantdada Sugar Institute, Pune, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) focused on Bioeconomy-Farm to Fuel Approach.
The initiative aims to concentrate on developing alternative feedstocks and optimizing byproduct utilization. The CoE will foster research, training, and technological innovations, aiming to develop best practices for feedstock enhancement.
With collaboration between both entities, Praj is optimistic that the CoE will emerge as a leading hub for innovating low carbon biofuel technologies. The integration of diverse feedstocks and effective byproduct valorization is expected to yield sustainable solutions for the biofuels industry.
